Upcoming Event: Volleyball versus UVU on September 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM

Made possible by a generous donation from Kenneth P. Burbidge family the 11,000 square foot, Burbidge Athletics Academic Center, fondly known as the “BURB”, was built in 2001. The BURB was designed to accommodate all of the university’s student-athletes, while providing an integrated learning environment to enhance both the academic and personal development of all Utah student-athletes. During the spring of 2018 an additional 4,000 square foot addition was added to the original facility in order to provide additional study rooms/spaces as well as a secondary computer lab area.
The primary goal of the BURB team is to accommodate the diverse needs and schedules of Utah’s student-athletes through a wide range of individual and group support services and computer technologies. The Athletics Academic Services program is among the most comprehensive and successful academic support programs, at the NCAA Division I level, providing support to over 500 student-athletes representing 20 sport programs.
A campus landmark, the BURB’s location is ideal and situated between the Natatorium and the Huntsman Center, and is central to campus classrooms and athletics facilities. The full-service academic and personal development facility is open to serve Utah student-athletes 5 days, and 50 hours, per week. Hours of operation are as follows:
