Upcoming Event: Men's Swimming & Diving versus Big 12 Conference Championships - Day 1 on February 24, 2026 at All Day

Utah fans are known for hosting some of the best tailgating in the west. Tailgating is allowed in all parking lots across the University of Utah campus, however reserved tailgating stalls are available in designated lots on a season-long or single-game basis.
Parking lots are reserved according to Crimson Club Athletic Fund Level. Pay parking lots are available for $10 per car/truck or $40 per RV/trailer. Fans also may take UTA trains or buses free to the game with their game ticket.
Utah Athletics also offers game-day drop-in child care with Crimson Kids. Located in the Guardsman Way tailgate parking lot, Crimson Kids accepts children ages 2-10 years old. Hourly pricing is affordable at $15 per hour for one child and $10 for a second. Time can be purchased in hourly increments with a 1-hour minimum. Certified staff supervise and offer activities that include Baby Swoop coloring pages, face painting, cheer lessons, yard games and bead activities.

Listen to the drum call to the Ute Walk on the corner of Guardsman Way and 500 South where the football team will be arriving to walk down to the stadium. Line the route 2.5 hours before kickoff and cheer your team to victory before the game! Sign up for the Utah Football Text Line by texting "UtahFB" to 888111 for your chance to receive great promotional items at each Ute Walk.

Get ready for the game by visiting Utah Village, an interactive fan/corporate hospitality area located on the grassy area north of the Eccles Tennis Center. Open two hours prior to kickoff, fans are invited to watch the pre-game radio broadcast by ESPN 700 and the Utah Sports Radio Network.

One of the University of Utah's oldest football traditions is the "Ute Thunder" cannon. Maintained by the Utah ROTC, the cannon blasts pre-game 45Â minutes before kickoff as an alert to enter the stadium, after each Utah score and during the quarter break entering the fourth quarter. Originally the ROTC used a World War 1 Cannon, however it was decommissioned in 2015 and replaced by the Utah National Guard.

Starting 20 minute prior to kickoff, be in your seats early as the Pride of Utah Marching Band, and Utah Spirit Team perform before the Utah Football team takes the field.

Create unique memories at Utah Football games with new experience upgrades. Want to lead the team onto the field, sit in the radio booth for a quarter or get a picture on the field with the spirit team? Now you have the opportunity to experience gameday like never before.
A limited amount of experiences are available for each game and are on sale now. Click the link below on your Android or iPhone to select your upgrade.

Rice-Eccles Stadium is home to the MUSS, one of the best student sections in college football. Named a Top 5 student section by the NCAA and a storied college football tradition by ESPN, the MUSS helps make Rice-Eccles Stadium one of the hardest places to play with traditions including the 3rd Down Jump, False Start Tally and more.
The MUSS is limited to 6,000 students and costs $50 for the season. It includes a t-shirt, reserved seating at each home game and food at the pre-game tailgate. Students that don't join the MUSS can still attend Utah Football games free by claiming a student ticket on UtahTickets.com while supplies last.
