- Led Cathedral Catholic to a CIF Division 1-AA state championship in 2016 and was ranked 13th in the nation by USA Today.

Personal: Son of Matthew and Valerie Anae … returned from his church mission in 2024 … mother (maiden name Cravens) played basketball at BYU … grandfather Bill Cravens played football at Utah … four sisters and one brother … sister Wendy and cousin Valerie Nawahine played basketball at Utah, while cousin Malia Nawahine played basketball at both Utah and BYU … cousin Bradlee Anae was a Ute defensive end who went on to play in the NFL … cousin Su’a Cravens played for USC and later in the NFL with Washington and Denver.
