Highlights: Last season the Utah men finished second in the Western Athletic Conference and the women finished fifth. All-WAC senior Jeff Simonich finished among the top three Ute finishers in all six cross country meets last year.
Cross Country Coach Mike Jones says: "Our men's team is lead by Jeff Simonich. We have nothing in mind but going after the championship of this first meet. We're a solid veteran team and we look good in practice. We intend to do very well at this meet. We have only three out of nine women returning this year. They are young and inexperienced, but they have been working very, very hard."
