Heidi Hausknecht Earns All-America Honors

SALT LAKE CITY - At the 1999 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships March 18-20, Utah's Heidi Hausknecht finished eighth in the 100 fly(54.42) and was honored as an All-American. Her preliminary time of 54.12 broke the Utah record in the event which was also set by Hausknect earlier in the season at 54.49.
At the 1999 Western Athletic Conference Championships, Hausknecht smashed three of Utah's individual records with top times in the 50 free (23.39), 100 free (51.44) and 100 butterfly (54.49). The 1999 Utes broke every school relay record. Hausknecht was a member of the record breaking 200 medley relay (1:44.76), 400 medley relay (3:46.65), 200 free relay (1:35.02) and 400 free relay (3:28.68) teams.
