SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's and women's swimming and diving teams finished the dual meet season with losses to Brigham Young. The men fell 134-106 and the women lost 154-84. The men finish the season with a 6-4 record, the women are 4-6. The Utes won the men's 200 medley relay and swam to a second place finish in the 200 free relay. Robert Renna won the 1000 free, Jon Wright won the 200 IM, Matt Chamberlain won the 100 fly, Johan Nystrom won the 100 free and Nick Smith won the 1-meter dive. The Ute women won the 200 medley relay. Heidi Hausknecht won the 100 fly, Heike Kutz won the 100 back and Molly Lauber won the 100 breast. Second place finishes were swam by Lisbeth Jensen (50 and 100 free) and Jody Cecil (1000 free). The Utes begin a month long training regimen to prepare for the WAC Championships.
