SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah men's and women's swimming and diving teams have announced three early signees for the 1999-2000 season.
Sarah Norton, sister to U. swimmer Aaron Norton, is a senior at Tigard High School in Tigard, Ore. While at Evanston High School (Wyo.), she was the Wyoming state champion in the 50 and 100 free (1997). Norton is a Senior National sprint freestyler.
David Fleich comes to the U. from Brighton High School (Utah). Fleich is a Junior National qualifier in the 200 IM, 100 back and 50 free. He was the state champ in the 200 IM at the Utah 5A state championships. Fleich is one of the top recruits from Utah.
Michael Lemons, from Reno, Nev., is a Junior National qualifier in the butterfly and IM.
