Nielsen Named MWC Cross Country Athlete Of The Week

SALT LAKE CITY - Johanna Nielsen, captain of University of Utah's women's cross country team, was named the Mountain West Conference athlete of the week. The Springville, Utah, native recorded the fastest time by a MWC runner so far this year, 17:27, when she placed seventh in the 5k race out of 103 runners at the Sundodger Invitational on Sept. 25th.

Up next for Utah is the ASU Invitational, Oct. 9 in Tempe, Ariz.
