After the second round of play on Thursday, the Utah golf team is in 15th place at the John A. Burns Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a team, Utah did not move up in the tournament, but individually, Ryan Ellis and Brock Padilla shot well enough to move up several spots. Ellis was in 73rd place after he shot a (39-37) 76 on Wednesday and shot an even par on Thursday to move into 51st place. Padilla was in 86th place after the first round (40-38--78) and shot a second round 75 to move up 10 places to 76th. The final round of the tournament is Friday.
