Utah ran a 100-play scrimmage, finishing up with red zone situations, from 10:30-12:00 at the Thomas Kearns McCarthey Practice Fields on Saturday, April 8.
Stats of NoteQuarterbacks Darnell Arceneaux was 3 for 8 for 32 yards (one pass was dropped). He also had a 7-yard rush. T.D. Croshaw was 4 for 6 for 38 yards and 1 TD (11 yards to Philippe Wells) Tony Alvarez was 4 for 8 for 79 yards (long of 45) Joel Gines was 5-6 for 42 yards Lance Rice was 2-6 for 14 yards (1 drop)
Receivers Philippe Wells had 2 receptions for 20 yards and 1 TD (11 yards) Johnny Lundy had 5 catches for 94 yards Dennis Smith had 3 catches for 30 yards
Running Backs Mbe Agbor had 8 rushes for 49 yards Edwin Benton rushed 7 times for 24 yards D'Shaun Crockett had 4 rushes for 5 yards Thomas Fortune had 5 for 11 yards
The defense recorded 7 sacks (2 for 12 yards by Wes Tufaga). Garrett Smith had a sack (5 yards) and pass breakup. Andre Dyson forced a fumble.
