Goldsberry Named All-American In Hammer Throw

Utah junior Chantel Goldsberry was named All-American in the hammer throw on Wednesday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Durham, N.C. She placed 11th with a throw of 189' 0.0", but was the seventh American finisher. All-America honors go to the top eight Americans. Goldsberry holds the Utah school record at 190' 5".
Ute senior Chris Merkely will compete in the 5,000 meters on Saturday at 8:50 p.m. (EST).
