NCAA Announces Gymnastics Regional Sites

INDIANAPOLIS -
The NCAA has announced the sites for the 2002 NCAA Regional Women's Gymnastics Championships on April 6. Selected to host a regional meet were: Oregon State (West Regional), Denver (North Central Regional), Arizona State (South Central Regional), Louisiana State (Central Regional), Penn State (Northeast Regional) and West Virginia (Southeast Regional).
The top 18 teams will be seeded into regional competition, so their regional destination will not be known until the regular season is complete. The top two teams from each regional competition will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will be held on April 18-20 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The NCAA has also announced the site of the 2003 and 2004 NCAA Championships. The 2003 event will hosted by Nebraska on April 24-26 and the 2004 championships will take place at UCLA on April 15-17.
