Ute Gymnastics Announces New Multi-Media Link

SALT LAKE CITY -
The University of Utah gymnastics team announces the launch of its newly designed multi media site. The site was designed and will be maintained by Ute assistant coach Aki Hummel. It can be accessed through the Utes' official gymnastics page (www.UtahUtes.com).
"This is an exciting step forward in our continuing effort to better inform our fans, parents, gymnastics team alumni and possible recruits about our program," says Head Coach Greg Marsden. "Aki has done a spectacular job and continues to amaze me with his talents. This, along with our official FansOnly site, provides unprecedented coverage of women's gymnastics. No other gymnastics team provides this type of public access," says Marsden
Viewers of the new Ute gymnastics multi-media site will find photo galleries, facility tours, video clips of each of the Ute starters on every event and streaming video.
With the help of Sorenson Media, the Utes will do a live streaming broadcast at each of its home meets and will put the away meets up on an on-demand basis a few days after each competition. In order to access the video streaming, you will need to have high speed Internet access (dsl, cable, etc.).
Utah Sports Information Director, Liz Abel, will also continue to do live on-line scoring at both home and away meets.
