Colorado Springs, Colo. - The University of Utah indoor track & field teams finished the last day of competition at the 2002 Mountain West Conference Championships on Sat. Feb. 23rd. The men's team finished at sixth place in the MWC and the women finished fifth. Utah's fifth place finish tops last year's sixth place finish in the conference. Top finishes for Utah were Nephi Tyler's second place finish (4:19.72) in the one mile run, and April Jackson's third place finished (8.63) in the 60-meter hurdles and second place finish (1.72m) in the high jump. Next for Indoor Track is the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. On March 7-9.
