Track and Field Team Finishes Wildcat Invitational

OGDEN, Utah - The Utah outdoor track and field team finished competition for the Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, April 12. Hosted by Weber State, the meet featured athletes from Brigham Young University, Utah State, Idaho State, Montana State, and Utah Valley State College.

Leading the Utes were Aubry Startin, Colby Frazier, and Nellie Hammons. Hammons took the 800 meters with a time of 2:15.12. Startin notched a second-place finish in the high jump with a height of 5' 6.25". Frazier placed fifth in the 5,000 meters with a time 15:35.55.

Next the Utes will travel to Azusa, Calif., for the Azusa Heptathlon. Competition for the meet will kick off on Tuesday, April 15, and last through Wednesday, April 16.
