BRIGHTON, Colo.- The University of Utah golf team is in fourth place after two rounds at the Ron Moore Classic. The Utes put up a team score of one-over-par, 577 (293-284), leaving them 13-strokes off the leader Colorado State. Leading the way for Utah is Garrett Clegg who is in fifth place with a two-under, 142 (73-69).
In at tie for 11th, Carl Jensen and Steve Newren each shot a two round score of even-par, Jensen put up rounds of 73 and 71, while Newren shot a 72 for both rounds. Nick Micek is at four-over, 148 (76-72), and Luke Swilor shot a five-over, 149 (75-74).
The final round of competition will begin on Tuesday morning at the Riverdale Dunes course.
