THIS WEEK:
The University of Utah men's tennis team takes on Utah State Friday, Jan. 30 at 5:00 p.m. and Montanta State Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eccles Tennis Center.
REVIEWING LAST WEEK:
On Saturday, Jan. 18, the Utes opened their season at home with a 1-6 loss to Northwestern. Freshman Miron Mann played at the No. 4 singles spot and picked up the only win for Utah when he defeated Willy Lock (6-4, 6-4).
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION:
The Aggies are 1-1 in the season, which began on Jan. 16 with a 4-3 win over Air Force. Utah State fell to BYU 7-0 in the second match of the season. Montana State opens their season with Utah. Last year the Bobcats compiled an overall 17-7 record and and had a 4-1 mark in the Big Sky Conference.

"The team is preparing for two tough regional opponents in Utah St. and Montana St. this weekend. We are expecting some tough competition from both teams but are hoping that our hard work since the Northwestern match will translate into a couple of wins."
