THIS WEEK:
The University of Utah men's tennis team takes on Utah State Friday, Jan. 30 at 5:00 p.m. and Montanta State Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eccles Tennis Center.
REVIEWING LAST WEEK:
On Saturday, Jan. 18, the Utes opened their season at home with a 1-6 loss to Northwestern. Freshman Miron Mann played at the No. 4 singles spot and picked up the only win for Utah when he defeated Willy Lock (6-4, 6-4).
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION:
The Aggies are 1-1 in the season, which began on Jan. 16 with a 4-3 win over Air Force. Utah State fell to BYU 7-0 in the second match of the season. Montana State opens their season with Utah. Last year the Bobcats compiled an overall 17-7 record and and had a 4-1 mark in the Big Sky Conference.
