Utah Golf Sits Seventh at Braveheart Classic

The University of Utah men's golf team completed the first two rounds of competition at the Highlander `Braveheart' Classic. Utah is in seventh-place with a team score of 47-over-par, 623 (311-312), 18-strokes back of leader Cal State Northridge. Garrett Clegg leads Utah with a two-round score of 151 (74-77), sitting in seventh only three-strokes behind leader, Tyler Herzog of Weber State.
Carl Jensen used a second round 75 placing him, 29th. Jensen shot a 12-over, 156 for the first two rounds. Casey Fowles is in 33rd with a 13-over, 157 (77-80) and Luke Swilor is two-strokes behind Fowles at 15-over, 159 (79-80). Jake Sowby added a two round total of 173 (88-85), for the Utes.
The final round of competition will be completed on Tuesday, March 9, at the PGA of Southern California Golf Course.
