SALT LAKE CITY - The NCAA Tournament will make a stop in Salt Lake City as the first and second rounds at the Jon M. Huntsman Center will feature one of the top players in the country when the tourney launches on March 16 and 18.
Eight teams will descend upon the Hunstman Center this week when March Madness begins.
From the Oakland Regional, Adam Morrison and his No. 3-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs will play the No. 14-seeded Xavier Musketeers. Also taking the hardwood from the Oakland bracket are No. 6 Indiana versus No. 11 San Diego State.
With the pod system, Utah will also be hosting four teams that will funnel into the Minneapolis Regional. Coming to the Huntsman is No. 4 Boston College. The Eagles will square off against the No. 13-seeded Pacific Tigers. Joining them from the Minneapolis bracket are the No. 5-seeeded Nevada Wolfpack and their opponent, the No. 12-seeded Montana Grizzlies.
Times for the games will be set Monday morning.
