SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah head coaches Elaine Elliott and Beth Launiere will speak at the national conference of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance here in Salt Lake City next week.
They will discuss challenges and opportunities related to coaching women in a speech titled: "Tips of the Trade: University of Utah Coaches Share the Wisdom."
This talk, scheduled for Thursday, April 27th from 8:45 - 10:00 a.m. in Room 251F of the Salt Palace Convention Center Downtown, is sponsored by the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport as part of the national conference of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance, held in Salt Lake City from April 25-29.

Beth Launiere has coached the Utah volleyball program for 16 years, where she has guided her teams to seven straight NCAA tournament appearances, nine straight 20-plus win seasons, three Mountain West Conference championships, and also won Regional and Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year honors. Launiere is 322-187 as head coach at Utah.
