Sophomore - Kristina Baskett, Normandy Park, WA: Kris was in SLC going to the first half of summer school and training. She is now in Normandy Park training at her club, Puget Sound Gymnastics, and doing a lot of camping and wake boarding on the Columbia River with her family.
Freshman - Daria Bijak, Cologne, Germany: Daria is in Cologne. She is scheduled for knee surgery in early July, and is expected to return to training at her club, Turnteam Toyota Köln, in four to six weeks.
Freshman - Chelsey Coleman, Mesa, AZ: Chelsey is in Mesa training at her club, Desert Devils Gymnastics, and doing some wake boarding with her coach Geoff Eaton.
Freshman - Jamie Deetscreek, Hatboro, PA: Jamie is in Hatboro training at her club, Ricochets Gymnastics.
Freshman - Annie DiLuzio, Folsom, CA: Annie just returned to Folsom from a Mediterranean cruise with her mom and Sarah Shire. She is training at her club, Byer's Gymnastics.
Fifth-year - Dominique D'Oliveira, Capetown, South Africa: Dom is in SLC working in the University's recreation program. She will return to the U. this fall for one semester to finish her degree in sociology with a minor in psychology. After graduation, she plans go home to South Africa and enter a flight-training program to become an airline pilot.
Junior - Jessica Duke, Salt Lake City, UT: Jessica is in SLC going to summer school and training.
Fifth-year - Annabeth Eberle, Reno, NV: Annabeth is in summer school finishing her degree in exercise and sport science with a minor in nutrition. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school in the physician's assistant program.
Senior - Nicolle Ford, Binghamton, NY: Nicolle is in SLC working at Olympus Gymnastics. She had wrist surgery in May and is gradually working her way back to full training.
Fifth-year - Gritt Hofmann, Berlin, Germany: Gritt is in SLC going to summer school to complete her degree in interior design.
Sophomore - Nina Kim, Houston, TX: Nina just returned to SLC from South Korea, where she spent three weeks with her mom and sister. She is working odd jobs and training.
Junior - Katie Kivisto, Boca Raton, FL: Katie is in Boca, working at Verizon Wireless and training at her club, American Twisters Gymnastics.
Freshman - Stephanie Neff, Mesa, AZ: Steph just returned to Mesa from two weeks in Pennsylvania, where her extended family lives. She is training at her club, Carter's Gymnastics.
Fifth-year - Natalie Nicoloff, Hermitage, PA: Natalie is in SLC working at both Starbucks and Bath and Body Works. She will return to the U. this fall to complete her degree in behavioral science and health with a minor in nutrition. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school in nutrition.
Fifth-year - Gabriella Onodi, Budapest, Hungary: Gabi is in SLC going to summer school and will return to the U. this fall to finish her degree in mass communication with a minor in business.
Junior - Ashley Postell, Burke, VA: Ashley is in SLC training.
Red-shirt freshman - Beth Rizzo, Chicago, IL: Beth is in SLC, working at Applebee's and training.
Fifth-year - Kristen Riffanacht, Cheshire, CT: Kristen is in SLC working at the Gymnastics Training Center (GTC). She will return to the U. this fall as a student-coach, while she completes her degree in exercise and sport science with minors in nutrition and psychology. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school in sports psychology.
Freshman - Sarah Shire, Columbia, MO: Sarah just returned from a Mediterranean cruise with Annie DiLuzio and her mom. The airlines lost Sarah's luggage, so she is busy buying a whole new wardrobe. She and her parents have moved back to Columbia, Mo., where she is working and training at Flipz USA Gymnastics.
