Dustin Pimm was recently honored by Golf Digest magazine, which included him in their Top 50 Male Golfers to Watch list. Pimm enjoyed a breakout season at the University of Utah last year, carding six top-10 finishes in the regular season, including a win at the Purple and Red Invitational. His stroke average of 71.23 led the Mountain West Conference and he placed sixth at last year's conference championships. Pimm finished fifth in the NCAA West Regional and competed in the NCAA National Championships.
This summer, Pimm played at the British Amateur, qualifying for match play. He also won the Davis Park and Valley View Amateur tournaments.
Pimm is a native of Sandy, Utah, where he attended Alta High School. While at Alta, Pimm was a three-time all-state selection and state champion in 2002. He was also named the Utah High School Golfer of the Year for the 2002 season.
