Utah at UNLV Saturday Afternoon
The University of Utah women's basketball team is in Las Vegas, Nev. Saturday for a Mountain West Conference matchup with UNLV. Coming off a 73-57 win at Colorado State, Utah is looking to maintain its unblemished MWC record.
Utah is 10-6 overall and 3-0 in league action. The Utes gave head coach Elaine Elliott her 500th career victory, when they defeated the Rams Thursday night.
UNLV comes into Saturday's contest on the heels of 51-46 victory over Wyoming. The Rebels took a nine-point lead by halftime and then held on down the stretch for the five-point victory.
Utah won three meetings with the Rebels last season.
UNLV is 8-7 on the season and 2-1 in MWC action.

Utah's 10-rebound edge against New Mexico last Sunday marked the seventh time Utah has held a double-digit advantage on the boards. The Utes are also tops in the MWC in rebounding defense, giving up just 30.4 caroms a contest.
