SALT LAKE CITY - The Mountain West Conference cross country championship originally scheduled in San Diego this Saturday will now be run in Albuquerque, N.M. Due to the overwhelming impact of wildfires in Southern California, the MWC office sought alternate venues and dates for numerous events hosted on the campus of San Diego State, including the cross country championships.
Both the men's and women's meets will now be run at the University of New Mexico North Golf Course. Start time for the men's race will be 10 a.m. MT on Saturday, October 27, followed by the women's race at 11 a.m. MT.
