This Week:
The University of Utah golf team continues its fall campaign Sept. 14-15 at the 53rd annual Tucker Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico. The 54-hole tournament will be held at the University of New Mexico Championship Course. (Blue Course). Utah's lineup this week will feature Dustin Pimm, Nicholas Larson, Chris Gresh, Chance Cota and Steven Broker.

The Field:
The following schools will compete at the 2007 Invitational: Air Force, Arizona, Baylor, BYU, Campbell, Colorado, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Ohio State, Pepperdine, Sam Houston State, San Diego State, Tulsa, Utah, UTEP, Wyoming and Xavier ... Arizona comes into the tournament ranked 25th in the nation ... New Mexico captured the tournament title in 2006, edging Brigham Young to finish at 10-over. Charlie Beljan of UNM was the individual medalist at six-under-par ... The field features six Mountain West Conference schools.

Ute Notes:
Utah completed its first fall tournament at the Falcon Invitational, finishing sixth ... Dustin Pimm shot a 66 Sunday in the final round at the Falcon Invitational. Pimm's 66 was his lowest round since winning the Wolf Pack Classic last October. Pimm leads the Utes in stroke average at 71.33 ... Chris Gresh led the Utes after the first two rounds, recording rounds of 71 and 73 to finish at even par ... All six Ute golfers finished in the top 50 ... The New Mexico Championship Course has hosted three NCAA Championships, (1976, 1992, 1998) as well as numerous NCAA regionals and conference championships.

Quoting Coach McCracken:
"The team was a little disappointed in the way they played last week. This week we've worked on correcting mistakes and getting better. Hopefully we can come out this weekend and play a little better."
