Ute Notes: Utah athletes have set 29 new personal records and nine new all-time top-10 marks this season ... Patterson leads Utah with four wins this season (two individual, two relay) while McAllister has three (two individual, one relay) ... Patterson's personal best of 25.27 in the 200 meters (1/19) is second in school history ... sophomore Liza Whitehead ran the second-fastest time in school history in the 60-meter dash at the BYU Invitational (7.83).
Coach Kepler's Two Cents: "The meet this weekend is going to be huge in every way. The quality and total number of participants will be much greater than our first two meets. Teams from the Pac 10 (Cal and Stanford), WAC (Nevada and BSU), Big Sky (Weber St) and a few other small university and college teams will be competing. I feel very good about the progress our team has made over the last two weeks. Our goal is to continue to compete and move forward with positive results the way we did during our first two meets."
Looking Ahead: The Utes head to Idaho State for the Mountain State Games, Feb. 8-9.
