-Utah held preseason All-American Blake Griffin of OU to zero made field goals. All 11 of his points came from the free-throw line.
-Oklahoma was Utah's first ranked opponent of the year.
-Jace Tavita started his second straight game as a true freshman.
-Luka Drca returned to action after missing the California game and all but three minutes of the Idaho State contest.
-Utah went the first 4:38 of the game without scoring. The Utes finally got on the board when a Lawrence Borha free throw at the 15:22 mark cut the Oklahoma lead to 4-1.
-Utah's first half field goal percentage of 23.1% (6-26) was the worst by either the Utes or a Utah opponent in any half this year.
-The Utes held Oklahoma to 31.8% shooting (7-22) in the first half.
-Senior center Luke Nevill scored 10 points to hit double digits for the ninth time in as many games this year. He has now scored in double figures 83 times in 100 career games.
