-Utah captures its first Mountain West Conference championship since 2005 and the 29th in school history. It is the Utes' fifth MWC championship.
-It was Senior Day at the Huntsman Center as the Utes celebrated the last home game for seniors Luke Nevill, Shaun Green, Lawrence Borha, Tyler Kepkay and Jonathan Downie.
-Nevill posted his 12th double-double of the season and the 30th of his career. He finished with 14 points and tied his career-high of 16 rebounds. He reached double figures for the 28th time in 30 games this year and the 102nd time in 121 career games (84%).
-Already the career and single-season record holder for blocked shots, Nevill added two more in the game to extend his career mark to 195 and his single-season total to 82. He also moved into second place all-time in the MWC for career blocked shots.
-Green finished with 20 points as he tied his career-high of six three-pointers.
-Lawrence Borha scored 12 points, hitting double figures for the 14th time in the last 15 games, and tied his season-high with six rebounds.
-Utah's senior class combined to outscore TCU's team, 50-49.
