Utah SAAC To Hold Shoe Drive for Haiti

The University of Utah Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has teamed up with the charity Soles4Souls to collect "gently used" shoes for victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Spearheaded by Utah gymnast and SAAC vice president Beth Rizzo, the shoe drive will be held at the Utah vs. Georgia gymnastics meet on Friday and the men's basketball game vs. Air Force on Saturday. Donation bins will be located at every Huntsman Center entrance. Donations of spare change to aid the cause will also be accepted. Members of SAAC representing various Utah teams will assist at each entrance.
