LAKESIDE, Calif. - The University of Utah golf team finished the first day of the San Diego State Barona Cup with a two-round total of 770 (374, 396), 50-over par tied for 13th place.
Leading the Utes is Chase Hite with a first day score of 147 (72, 75), three-over par tied for 24th place.
Tied for 48th place is Derek Adams shooting a score of 151 (75, 76), seven-over par. Kaleb Mahanes is tied for 65th place with a score of 154 (75, 79), 10-over par. Rounding out the Utah roster tied for 72nd place is Joe Webber 156 (74, 82), 12-over par.
