PROVO, Utah - The University of Utah golf team completed the final round of the PING Cougar Classic hosted by Brigham Young Saturday at the Riverside Country Club. The Utes shot a third round score of 288 to finish in 15th place with a final score of 890.
Joe Webber continued to lead the Utes after the third round finishing the day tied for 10th place with a score of 214 (71, 72, 71), two-under par.
Derek Adams tied for 43rd place after shooting a low third round of 69 ending the Classic with a score of 221 (77, 75, 69), five-over par.
Tied for 63rd place Chase Hite shot a score of 72 in the third round for a three-round total of 225 (74, 79, 72), nine-over par. Kaleb Mahanes shot a three-round total of 231 (81, 74, 76), 15-over par, to tie for 83rd place.
Mike Branca rounds out the Utah lineup with a score of 239 (80, 82, 77), 25-over par.
The Utes will compete in the Mountain West Conference Championships May 6-8 in Tuscon, Ariz.
