O'AHU, Hawaii - The University of Utah men's golf team wrapped up play at the John Burns Intercollegiate on the George Fazio course of Turtle Bay Resort today. Utah posted a three-round score of 910 (311-311-288), after dropping a third-round score of 288. Senior Jeff Kitches remained the lead of the Utes, putting up a final score of 222 (75-76-71), to tie for 46th.
Fellow senior Derek Adams was second to finish for the Utes, posting a third-round score of 74 to finish at 227 (79-74-74) and tied for 63rd. Freshman Ben Bankhead tied for 72nd with his mark of 229 (80-77-72), while senior Chase Hite posted a 232 (77-84-71) to tie for 82nd. Mike Branca finished out for Utah in 92nd, posting a 246 (84-85-87).
Up next for Utah is the University of Arizona NIT, March 21-22, in Tuscon, Ariz.
