LAKESIDE, Calif. - The University of Utah men's golf team posted a 15th-place finish Friday at the Barona Creek Golf Club. The team tallied a final score of 1142 (371-402-369), while freshman Gentry Hicks lead in individual standings with a mark of 221 (77-71-73) to tie for 50th place.
Freshman Brandon Kida was next to finish on the Ute roster, tying for 52nd with a final score of 222 (70-79-73). Freshman Myles Sullivan tied for 92nd with a mark of 234 (77-82-75), while sophomore Ben Bankhead tied for 95th, tallying a score of 235 (77-83-75). Sophomore Daniel Engle was not far behind and posted a 237 (70-87-80) to tie for 97th.
Catch the Utes back in action next weekend at the U.S. Intercollegiate in Stanford, Calif., March 30-April 1.
