SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team enters the final stretch of the season with a three-game series against Kansas, beginning Saturday, May 18, at 12:00 p.m. MT. The series continues on Sunday, May 19, at 6:30 p.m. MT, and Monday, May 20, at 12:00 p.m. MT.
The team will hold a post-game autograph session after each game.
Utah will start Mitch Watrous on the mound on Friday followed by Dalton Carroll on Saturday and Tanner Banks on Sunday.
The Utes will be looking to rebound this weekend after recent close losses to BYU and Washington.
Utah is third in the Pac-12 in stolen bases (69) and home runs allowed (12). The Utes are tied for third in the conference in triples (17) and runners caught stealing (23). Utah is tied for fourth in the league in runners picked off (8).
Kansas is 31-21 on the year and 12-12 in the Big-12. The Jayhawks were swept in their last outing by Kansas State but had won six straight before that.
Utah closes out its season next weekend with a three-game series against top-10 ranked Oregon, beginning on Friday, May 24.
