SALT LAKE CITY - The fundraising department for University of Utah Athletics will now be known as the Crimson Club Athletic Fund and will also use an updated logo, the organization announced Friday.
The boosters in the Crimson Club Athletic Fund are critical to the success of Utah's over 400 student-athletes, programs and 18 varsity sports. Their contributions provide scholarships, help fund building projects and provide needed equipment and resources to coaches.
"I would like to thank you our great boosters and members of the Crimson Club for the great support they have shown Utah Athletics over the past years," Utah Director of Athletics Chris Hill said. "We are excited about the new logo and the positive direction of the Crimson Club Athletic Fund. This organization is for everyone who considers themselves a Ute fan and wants to be a part of building the future of Utah Athletics."
The updated Crimson Club Athletic Fund logo gives it a clean and updated look and the addition of "Athletic Fund" to the group's name further clarifies their mission of providing the scholarships and resources necessary for our student-athletes to be successful.
