SQUAW VALLEY, Calif. - Mark Engel finished 11th in the giant slalom at the U.S. Alpine Championships to lead the Utah ski team on Friday afternoon.
Joergen Brath finished 24th while Andy Trow missed a gate on his first run.
Finishing eighth was former Ute Nick Cohee.
The U.S. Alpine Championships continue on Saturday, March 22, with the men's and women's slalom events.
