SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Stephanie Jolley advanced to the semifinals of the 400m hurdles this evening at the USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships, while Rosalie Waller and Amanda Mergaert also turned in impressive performances.
Jolley finished fifth in her heat with a time of 58.31 seconds and was 14th overall. She advances to tomorrow's semifinals at 1:13 p.m. PT and the race can be seen live on NBC.
Waller, who advanced to the semifinals of the 800 meters last night with a new PR, finished eighth in her heat this evening with a time of 2:08.19.
Another day down. Great job by Steph to advance to tomorrow's 400H. Rose Waller finished her career today as a Ute. What a career it was!

Mergaert finished 15th in the 1500m and missed making Sunday's final by 1.19 seconds. The Utah All-American in cross country, indoor and outdoor track, runs professionally for Oiselle and her time of 4:12.25 was a new personal best. Her top time prior to tonight occurred at the Portland Track Festival two weeks ago (4:12.83).
