The latest multi-year APR calculations include scores from 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14. The average for Utah's teams was 983, establishing a new department record and easily exceeding the NCAA minimum requirement of 930.
Gymnastics placed first in the Pac-12 with a perfect multi-year APR of 1000. Earning a perfect 1000 APR for the second year in a row were the men's basketball, volleyball, men's golf and women's tennis teams. Others that received a 1000 APR in 2013-14 were the gymnastics, women's cross country, women's indoor track and women's outdoor track teams.
Football set a new multi-year APR record of 973 with the addition of its 981 APR in 2013-14. It marks the fourth-straight year that football's multi-year APR ranks in the top third in the Pac-12 Conference. Also producing multi-year scores that rank in the top third of the league for their sports were gymnastics (1000), baseball (988), men's basketball (980), men's golf (993), men's tennis (991) and women's indoor track (989).
Thirteen Utah teams improved their multi-year scores from a year ago. Making gains were women's indoor track (+9), women's outdoor track (+8), women's tennis (+6), men's golf (+6), men's skiing (+5), cross country (+5), soccer (+5), volleyball (+5), gymnastics (+4), football (+3), softball (+1), men's tennis (+1) and men's basketball (+1).
