Los, Angeles, Calif.- The University of Utah diving team competed day two at the UCLA Invitational.
""It was great getting Amanda back on platform today," said Utah head diving coach
Richard Marschner. "She had a strong competition even though she wasn't doing her full list of dives. We're looking forward to a strong finish on one-meter and platform tomorrow."
Josiah Purss took to the podium after finishing third on the three-meter event. He came away with a score of 649.90.
Daniel Theriault was sixth (537.40) in the event.
For the women,
Amanda Casillas was seventh on the platform event tallying a total score of 430.65.
The Utes head into the final day of competition with the men's platform and the women's one-meter event. Finals are set to begin at 1:45 p.m. MT.
