The Basics: The University of Utah women's basketball team is heading south for its first road trip of the season, taking on Alabama on Monday, Nov. 13 in Tuscaloosa. The game is set for a 6 p.m. MT tip in Coleman Coliseum. 

On The Road: Utah is 12-13 on the road under the direction of head coach Lynne Roberts (6-6 in 2016-17, 6-7 in 2015-16. The is Utah's first power five road game since Roberts took over the program in 2015-16 and the first time the Utes have played a team from the SEC since Utah played Mississippi (L, 52-38) in the Nugget Classic in 2014. 

About the Crimson Tide: Alabama opened the season with a 90-32 win over Alabama A&M on Friday, Nov. 10 with four players reaching double figures while holding Alabama A&M to just 24-percent shooting from the field. The Crimson Tide is led by head coach Kristy Curry who is in her fifth season at the helm. Alabama returns all five starters from the team that won 22 games last season, the most for Alabama since 1998. 

By the Numbers:
• 35: Utah has 35 wins under the direction of Lynne Roberts.
• 14: Utah will appear on the Pac-12 Networks 14 times this season. 
• 9: Out of Utah's 15-person roster, nine athletes are 6-0 or taller. 
• 6: Utah added six newcomers to the roster this season. 
• 4: Utah has four student-athletes who hail from other countries including (Canada, Finland). 
• 4: The Utes return four seniors this season in Wendy Anae, Tanaeya BoClair, Tilar Clark and Emily Potter
• 3: Utah returns three starters this season in Emily Potter, Tanaeya BoClair and Erika Bean
• 2: Back-to-back seasons in postseason play (WNIT in 2016, 2017).

Utah vs. the SEC: Utah is 4-12 all-time against the current members of the Southeastern Conference, picking up wins against Arkansas, Mississippi, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. The last time the Utes played a team from the SEC was in 2014 (vs. Ole Miss, L 52-38) and the last time Utah defeated a team from the SEC was in 2002 when they defeated Mississippi State, 69-65. 

Last time Out: The Utes opened the season with a dominating 87-61 win over Nevada (11/10). The Utes had four players reach double figures with true freshman leading the way with 18 points. She went 6-for-9 from the arc (6-for-6 in the fourth quarter). Emily Potter led the Utes in boards with 16, grabbing her 31st career double-double. Megan Huff added 16 points while Daneesha Provo had 14 after going 5-for-7 from the floor and 4-for-6 from the three.
