SALT LAKE CITY - Utah diving completed the final day of competition at the Utah Diving Invitational.
"The diving invite went great," said Utah diving head coach
Richard Marschner. "We're really excited for Jenner, he got his NCAAs regional score, so he gets to compete in the post season. Kenzie Caufield had a wonderful meet, she had personal bests on both boards. Overall it was great experience, I think they all competed very well and it's a good way to go into this training break that we have coming up."
For the men,
Nathan Makarewicz earned a spot on the podium in the one-meter event, placing third with an overall score of 345.15.
Jenner Pennock followed in fifth place, tallying a total score of 302.25.
Daniel Theriault rounded things up for the Utes, placing 10
th with a score of 276.10.
On the women's side,
Clare Greenlow finished in fifth place on the three-meter event with a total score of 263.35 with
Makenzie Caufield close behind in sixth place, tallying a score of 252.10.
The University of Utah diving team will be back in action Jan. 12-14, as they will travel to Los Angeles, California, to compete in the UCLA Diving Invitational.
