Utah Vault Notes:
Nice vault by
Kari Lee. Very small step back on landing.
Macey Roberts replaced
Baely Rowe (resting on the leg
events tonight) and did a nice vault before stepping back.
MaKenna Merrell got a lot of air and distance. Her
deduction also came on the landing.
Tiffani Lewis also struggled on her landing, sort of running out
of it.
MyKayla Skinner launched a big, perfect looking vault with
a 10.0 start value. She had a tiny step on her dismount. Again
I can't explain the big deductions.
Shannon McNatt nice vault and stick. I think she was
counted down for her knees locking out on the landing.
Utah Bar Notes:
MaKenna Merrell fell on her Delchev release.
Missy Reinstadtler idd a nice job following
MaKenna Merrell's
fall. Her deductions came on a couple of short handstands.
I had an excellent view of
MyKayla Skinner's routine and I
cannot explain her deductions. Beautiful handstands, smooth
routine, good release moves, stuck dismount.
Tiffani Lewis had a great finish, just nailed her double lay
dismount, but was short on a couple of handstands.
Baely Rowe hit all her handstands and had a great routine
going. She had a step on her dismount, but again, I can't
explain the big deductions.
Utah Beam Notes: Overall a pretty routine by
Maddy Stover. Her deduction was
for a wobble on her split jump.
MaKenna Merrell clean routine other than a bobble on her front tuck.
Missy Reinstadtler had another clean routine that looked mostly
bobble free to me. It's senior night here, so it's interesting.
This is what i can tell you about MyKayla's routine. She was nearly
flawless up on the beam. She didn't quite stick the landing after
her big double back dismount. A 9.8?
Beautiful routine by
Kari Lee and she finished with a flourish,
sticking her landing cold.
Baely Rowe had another good routine other than a bobble
on her series.
Utah Floor Notes:
Macey Roberts had a clean, fun routine other than
a weird side step landing her second pass.
Pretty routine by
Missy Reinstadtler. Her main deduction came on
a step after landing her first double back pass.
MaKenna Merrell had a nice routine but some trouble with her
full in where she looked like she had a little trouble controlling it.
Kari Lee (you read that right) comes back with a bang. Pretty
routine receives 9.9 from one judge. Her first floor routine in over
a year.
Tiffani Lewis had a great routine going until her last
tumbling pass when she had to touch her hands after
a double tuck.
The "concrete" floor here didn't bother
MyKayla Skinner one
bit. Beautiful routine that fully deserved the 9.95 she got from
one judge.
