Tyler Wagner is in his sixth season in professional baseball. He joined the Texas Rangers organization in the offseason and begins the year with the Triple-A Round Rock Express. Wagner started the season opener and threw four shutout innings over five innings pitched with four strikeouts. Wagner has six major league appearances with the Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks (2015-16).

Stephen Fife is in his ninth season in professional baseball. He signed a minor league contract in the offseason with the Miami Marlins and begins the year with the Triple-A New Orleans Baby Cakes. Fife has also been part of the Red Sox, Dodgers and Cubs organizations. He played in 18 games with the Dodgers from 2012-14.

Parker Morin is in his sixth season in the Kansas City Royals organization. He earned a non-roster invitation to spring training and started the season at Double-A Northwest Arkansas but begins this week with the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers.

Trey Nielsen is in his fourth season in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. After earning a non-roster invitation to spring training, he begins the year on the disabled list with the Double-A Springfield Cardinals. Nielsen also played for Italy in the World Baseball Classic, pitching in two games.

Bret Helton enters his third year in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He is with the Class A Advanced Bradenton Marauders. Helton earned a win in his first appearance of the season, throwing 2 2/3 innings with a strikeout.
