Gymnasts Celebrate Season at Team Banquet

Team Honors Annual Award Winners
SALT LAKE CITY—The 2017 Utah gymnastics team gathered one last time at the annual team banquet on Apr. 20. Balloons and photos commemorating the team's Pac-12 Championship and Super Six season greeted the gymnasts, coaches, staff and their guests as they entered and a slideshow played during pre-dinner mingling and appetizers.

After dinner, co-head coaches Tom Farden and Megan Marsden spoke to the team and handed out the team awards. Junior Maddy Stover concluded the speaking portion of the program, giving special thanks to the team's lone senior and fellow co-captain Baely Rowe.

The 2017 team awards went to MyKayla Skinner (MVP), Missy Reinstadtler (Trix and Rainer Dahl Academic Award), Macey Roberts (Coaches Award for Most Improved) and co-winners Baely Rowe and Maddy Stover (Greg Marsden Leadership Award).

The evening concluded with a highlight video of a season that saw the Utes win the Pac-12 Championship, claim the regional title and finish fifth at the NCAA Championships.
