SAN FRANCISCO - Utah men's swimming and diving had 15 student-athletes named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Teams, the league office announced today.
The Utes tallied four first-team members, eight second-team honorees and three honorable mention nods giving them the second-most selections of any Pac-12 school (Stanford, 18)
First team honorees on the men's side included Josiah Purss, Ben Scott and Brandon Shreeve for a second-straight year and Daniel Theriault.
Keanu Interone and Luis Macias were named to the second team for a second-straight season and joined by Jack Burton, Evan Indahl and Brendan Nguyen, honorable mention nods last year, along side Connor Cain, McKay King and Chris Taber.
Nolan Rogers and Ganem Tebet were recognized for a second-straight season, this time as honorable mention selections. They were selected along with Austin Phillips
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and participate in at least half of their team's scheduled regular season events.
