Eight Ute Gymnasts Are Scholar All-Americans

McNatt, Schwab earn 4.00 cumulative GPA
SALT LAKE CITY—Eight members of the 2017 Utah gymnastics team were named Scholastic All-Americans by the National Association of Gymnastics Coaches (NACGC). Utah's Tiffani Lewis and Maddy Stover are now three-time NACGC Scholastic All-Americans. Shannon McNatt and Sabrina Schwab, who both finished the year with 4.00 cumulative GPAs, are on the team for a second year, as is Erika Muhaw (3.96 GPA).

Making the NACGC academic team as freshmen were Missy Reinstadtler, MyKayla Skinner and Kim Tessen.

The gymnastics team, which won its third Pac-12 Championship in the last four years in 2017 and finished fifth at the NCAA Championships, earned the best cumulative GPA of any Ute team in 2016-17—a 3.676.
