SALT LAKE CITY—The Utah gymnastics program has launched a #GetWiggyWithUs campaign to raise awareness and funds for its Expand the Dumke Center project. All proceeds from the sale of the wigs, which cost $20, will go toward the Dumke Gymnastics Center expansion fund.
Â
The team asks that fans take photos of themselves in the wigs and share them on social media using #GetWiggyWithUs and #ExpandtheDumke. The wigs will be sold at Red Zone locations on campus, as well as in the Sandy store and at
URedZone.com.
Â
Utah's Feb. 23 meet against defending NCAA champion UCLA will be a "Wig Out" with fans encouraged to wear their red wigs. The meet will start at 1:30 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. Click

The Expand the Dumke Center project was unveiled last March with a goal of raising $3 million to expand and renovate the aging facility where the nationally ranked Utes train. Included in the plans are a partial second story addition with an upgraded team locker room, lounge and balcony, as well as locker rooms for the coaches and improvements to the athletic training and rehabilitation area.
