SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – University of Utah women's basketball senior
Megan Huff has been named to the 2019 Katrina McClain Award watch list on behalf of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, honoring the top power forwards in women's NCAA Division I college basketball.
Huff is one of 20 student-athletes in the running for the award that was named after McClain, a two-time All-American and 1987 National Player of the Year for Georgia. The award is in its second year.
The winner of the 2019 Katrina McClain Power Forward Award will be revealed on an ESPN platform during the 2019 Women's Final Four in Tampa, Fla. Huff is one of four athletes from the Pac-12 represented on the list, joining Kianna Ibis of Arizona State, Ruthy Hebard (2018 award winner) of Oregon and Alanna Smith of Stanford.

Huff earned Pac-12 All-Conference first team honors last season after scoring in double digits in 22 of Utah's 32 games. She ended the year ranked in the top-11 in the conference in scoring, field goal percentage, free throw percentage and rebounds.
The Federal Way, Wash. started 29 of the 30 games she played in in 2017-18, averaging 14.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. She had seven 20-point scoring outings and six double-doubles, also leading the Utes in rebounding in 16 games.
