SALT LAKE CITY – In coordination with the 45
th anniversary of Title IX, the Crimson Club has announced a new program entitled Utes with Wings. The goal of this initiative is to create more opportunities, as well as a community of support, for female student-athletes.

"We believe that the resources and opportunities provided by Utes with Wings allows for our female student-athletes to strive for championships on the field of play and in the field of life," Senior Woman Administrator
Nona Richardson said. "Your dedication, gifts, and support to Utah Athletics and its female student-athletes allows for an environment of opportunity, growth, and empowerment."

With Utah's women's programs continuing to have outstanding success in their respective arenas of competition, as well as the classroom, now is the time to show your support for these outstanding student-athletes. Your support will help provide funding for team building exercises and retreats, foreign and domestic travel, facility enhancement and overall program development.

Tanaeya BoClair said. "At Utah, we are continuing to build upon a foundation of what other women have done. Utes with Wings is an awesome idea because it will provide resources and support for all the female student-athletes."

America First Credit Union, along with Brent and Ann Wilson, have donated $100,000 to kick-start the campaign and will be recognized during the men's basketball game vs. UCLA on Thurs., Feb. 22
