SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah men's tennis program announced its 2018-19 schedule today, highlighted by 15 home matches coming to the Eccles Tennis Center this spring.

Utah gets started this fall with a trio of tournaments, starting in October. Utah will head South for the ITA Regionals in Las Vegas, Nev. Oct. 15-19 before taking on the Gopher Invitational in Minneapolis (Nov. 2-4) and the Loyola-Marymount Invitational in Los Angeles (Nov. 9-11) to wrap up their fall schedule.
The Utes get straight down to business to bring in 2019, facing off against BYU on Saturday, Jan. 12 in Provo for the Deseret Duel. Utah is coming off a stellar win over the Cougars from last season where they rallied for a 4-3 victory at home.
Next up for the Utes will be a pair of home matches against Weber State and Montana State, both on Saturday, Jan. 19. They follow it up with two games in Chapel Hill, N.C. against North Carolina and either Middle Tennessee State or Duke on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26, respectively.
On Feb. 2, Utah returns home for two matches against Northern Arizona before hitting the road to take on Miami and the Iowa Hawkeyes on Feb. 9 and Feb. 10.
After returning from the Midwest, the Utes will have an eight-match home stand, starting on Feb. 17 against New Mexico and Idaho State. Marquette and Montana come to Salt Lake City on Feb. 23 to take on the Utes with Old Dominion and Denver visiting on March 1 and March 3 before Pac-12 play starts.
The Utes open Pac-12 play against UCLA (March 8) and USC (March 9) at home before heading to the Golden State for a pair of matches against UC Irvine (March 13) and Cal Poly (March 16).
Utah continues in the Pac-12 against Washington and Oregon on March 29 and March 31 before heading back to the Eccles Tennis Center to take on San Francisco on April 4. Utah will then host its final home matches of the season against Cal on April 6 and Stanford on April 7.
The Utes wrap up their regular season against Arizona and Arizona State on April 12 and April 14 in Arizona. Utah came away with two big Pac-12 wins against the Arizona schools last season, defeating both 4-3 at home.
The Pac-12 Tournament is scheduled for April 23-27 in Ojai, Calif. with the NCAA Regionals getting started on May 10.
